About GLC

The Gate Leadership College (GLC) provides students an opportunity to serve daily on the front lines of spiritual and social transformation while earning a two-year Associate of Arts degree in Leadership and Social Enterprise through Evangel University.

Courses are offered on-site and online, with residency and practicums held at The Gate, a multi-site church located in Hammond, Indiana.

With an immersive curriculum combining both classroom academics and hands-on community engagement, GLC provides students a non-traditional collegiate experience that specifically equips them for world-changing work and ministry.

Health and wellness are important for learning. GLC students are provided two freshly prepared meals five days a week included in the tuition.

Housing (No Dorms Here)

Each GLC student is housed in modern large two or three bedroom town homes or villas right on the GLC Campus. Each unit is equipped with state of the art wifi, kitchens, and living spaces to furnish the way you like. College life has never felt so good.

Focused Learning

Each class is small so every GLC student has access to the professor. GLC uses the most advanced technology to enhance the learning atmosphere. In seat, online, and hybrid classes are offered. You will receive the attention you need to be the success you desire.

Each week GLC students participate in their own chapel service where there is anointed worship, inspired preaching, and time for you to pursue your passion for Jesus Christ.

Group Life

Each day GLC students have the opportunity to build friendships and rely on other students and leaders around them. As a GLC Student you are not left alone to face the pressures. You are surrounded by peers and leaders who want you to succeed and believe in you.

Christ Centered

The atmosphere in GLC is completely Christ Centered. Students are given the opportunity each day to pursue their desire for Christ and grow spiritually, through the local church. As a GLC Student, each time you enter a class, worship service, or practicum, you will feel the atmosphere of Jesus Christ.

Fitness Center Membership

A fitness center membership is included in the GLC tuition. The fitness center is located next to the GLC Campus. The Fitness Center offers racquetball courts, basketball, a pool, steam room, sauna, free weights, machines, and much more.

Flexible Schedule

The GLC Schedule is set with the working student in mind. If you need to get a side job to help pay for school or have some extra cash there you can.
