Apply to GLC
The first step toward becoming a GLC student is completing our online application. The application will walk you step-by-step through the process as you provide the information needed to process you application.
Send Us Your Transcripts
High School Students
Talk with your guidance counselor about how to request your high school transcript. The transcript will need to be faxed or emailed.

Homeschool Students
For Homeschool students, your high school transcript and GPA can be created by simply completing this Home School Official Transcript Form. Once completed, you can email the finished form to our GLC admissions department admissions@thegateonline.net or faxed to 417-865-9599.

College Credits
Transfer students are accepted from regionally accredited college/university on the basis of transcripts and satisfactory student records. Credits may be granted for most standard university courses with a “C-” or higher. If you’ve taken a class for college credit please send us an official copy of your transcript by mailing it to: Evangel University ATTN: GLC Admissions, 1111 N Glenstone Ave Springfield, MO 65802
Share Your Test Scores
If you have already taken the ACT or SAT, you can send your test scores to our admissions department by email or fax at 417-865-9599.
Our ACT school code is 2296
Our SAT school code is 6198
*codes are the same as Evangel
If you haven’t taken the ACT you can register at www.actstudent.org or SAT at sat.collegeboard.org. We only require one test score.
Financial Aid

Complete the FAFSA online application to receive Federal Aid.

GLC offers scholarships to help finance your education.

There are several websites that offer private scholarships that can be used at GLC. The Assemblies of God has private scholarships available at ag.org.

Payment Plans
GLC full time college students are able to set up a payment plan through Evangel University’s student billing office.
