Title IX

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (20 U.S.C. § 1681) is a federal law that prohibits sex discrimination in educational institutions that receive federal funding. Evangel University affirms that members of the university, community, guests and visitors have the right to be free from all forms of sex harassment, discrimination and misconduct, examples of which can include acts of sexual violence, sexual harassment, intimate partner violence, and stalking.
